Enisa Nikaj is an Albanian-American singer and songwriter. She first rose to fame as a cover song singer on YouTube.

Who is Enisa Nikaj?

Enisa Nikaj is best known professionally by her stage name Enisa. She is a singer, songwriter, performer, and aspiring model. In addition, she has recently gained high fame as a reality singing star on NBC’s American Song Contest.

She was born to her Albanian parents in Brooklyn, New York, on 5 March 1996. She holds American Nationality, but her Albanian roots make her ethnicity Albanian-American. Moreover, as per Enisa’s Tweet on 3 April 2022, she is a Muslim, and she is proud of her religion.

As far as her academics are concerned, she attended Edward R. Murrow High School in Brooklyn. She graduated from there in 2015. Unfortunately, further details of her higher education are not found on authentic sites.

Immediately after graduation, i.e., at the age of 19, Enisa began sharing cover song videos on her YouTube channel. She created her channel titled @Enisa in 2012 and shared her first cover song of David Guetta’s 'Sia' on 7 July 2015. Moreover, she has also performed songs of several other famous artists like Justin Timberlake, Adele, Hozier, etc.

As of today, 834k people have subscribed to her YouTube channel. She has uploaded a total of 81 videos and has amassed over 114 million video views to date. Her first ever video to hit 100k views was Hozier’s 'Take Me To Church' which she uploaded on 16 August 2015. As of now, the video has over 1.1 million views.

As per the data on Social Blade, Enisa’s estimated annual income from YouTube is between $11.7k to $187.5k. However, verified sources have yet to publish her actual net worth figure.

Music Career

Enisa officiated her professional music career in 2016. She released her first original song ‘Burn This Bridge’ on 15 September 2016. It followed her second single, ‘Glory Days,’ which she launched on 26 May 2017. Moreover, the song is featured in the opening scene of the 2019 drama movie Miss Virginia.

Similarly, Enisa’s other songs include ‘Freedom’ (2017), ‘Something Beautiful’ (2019), ‘Love Cycle’ (2020), ‘Tears Hit the Ground’ (2021), ‘One Thing’ (2022), ‘Get that Money’ (2022), etc. Lately, she has also launched her debut Extended Play (EP) Fake Love on 18 February 2022.

Semi-Finalist of 'American Song Contest'

NBC's musical reality series, American Song Contest, premiered on 21 March 2022. The show featured 56 contenders for the title of ‘Best Original Song.’ The series is modeled on the famous European reality show, Eurovision Song Contest (ESC). It includes a total of eight weeks of competition, out of which five weeks are for qualifying rounds, two semi-final rounds, and finally, the grand final.

The American Song Contest announced Enisa as one of the 56 title contenders on 3 March 2022. She performed her original song, ‘Green Light’ in the show's second week and won the jury and public voting to advance to the semi-final stage.

A total of 22 semi-finalists were selected after five qualifying rounds. They were again made into two groups of 11 to perform on semi-final 1 and semi-final 2 weeks on 25 April and 2 May respectively. Enisa gave her semi-final performance in the second semi-final week. Unfortunately, her song could not take her to the grand final that will be held on 9 May 2022.

After both semi-final rounds, the 56-member jury panel and public voting have decided on the 10 grand finalists of the show. The 10 remaining title contenders are Allen Stone, AleXa, Riker Lynch, Grant Knoche, Ni/Co, Michael Bolton, Tenelle, Chloe Fredericks, Tyler Braden, and Jordan Smith. 

Is Enisa Nikaj Married?

The 26-year-old American singer has not announced any news regarding her love life and relationship details. However, the January 2022 report on NGNews247 suggests she is not yet married and thus, does not have a husband.
