Kayla Quick was born Kyla Lynn Quick on 17 October 1989, in Port Charlotte, Florida, United States. She was raised by her parents, Gerald Alan Quick and Mary Kay Quick, along with her sister, Kara Lee Quick.
Quick gained recognition following her relationship with former professional American football player Michael Strahan. Before their relationship, she worked as a dancer in a club called The Doll House in Tampa Bay, Florida.

Michael T. Strahan is a journalist, former professional American football player, and television personality from the United States. Strahan was a defensive end for the New York Giants of the National Football League for his entire 15-year professional career.
Currently drawn with T. J. Watt for the most quarterback sacks in a single NFL season, Strahan was a dominant pass rusher who helped the New York Giants defeat the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl XLII in his final season in 2007.
Since leaving the NFL, Strahan has established himself as a media personality, first appearing as a football analyst on Fox NFL Sunday, then co-hosting ABC's Good Morning America from 2012 to 2016 as well as Live! with Kelly and Michael. For co-hosting the show, he won two Daytime Emmy Awards.
