Peterson's Break From Acting and Hospitalization

In an exclusive interview with The Chicago Tribune, William asserted that he was taking a break from acting on TV to focus on his twins and family. At that time, his twins were six years old.

"I had a relationship with CBS that was gold standard. And when CSI ended, I just decided I was going to spend as much time with my two [kids] as I can. I spend my time chasing them around. They're not here right now, and that means I can't sleep," he confessed.

According to Variety, the actor was briefly hospitalized in 2021 after he felt uneasy while shooting for CSI: Vegas. However, the actor's representative stated that he was rushed to the hospital 'as a precautionary measure,' as Peterson had been exhausted from continuously working for extended hours on the show for around 12 weeks.

TMZ first reported the news about the actor being discharged from the hospital and that he was recovering.

Cirone is Peterson's second wife. He was previously married to Joanne Brady from 1974 to 1981.
