Talking about her parents in an April 2021 interview with Grumpy Magazine, she said, “I don’t see my story as the fact that I was abandoned. I think [my biological parents] did it with the intention that they would give me a second chance at life, and I don’t want to disregard the incredible decision my parents made to adopt. So many people have opened doors for me and I don’t want to waste that.”

She did not have any thoughts of pursuing a career in acting. However, her mother later suggested enrolling in a drama school in the United Kingdom.

Taking her mother’s advice, she attended the Arts Educational School in London and later graduated with a fine arts bachelor’s degree.

While there, she performed in several stage plays and acts. Moreover, during the play titled People, Places, and Things, she realized she was meant for acting.
