Who is Sterling Sulieman?
Sterling Sulieman is an American actor born on 26 March 1984 in Oakland, CA, and raised in Oahu, Hawaii. He attended the Punahou School from 1997 to 2002. After that, Sulieman graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, in 2006.
Sulieman started acting by performing in musical theater, and after making it to LA, he could break into the TV industry. The actor debuted his professional acting career in the TV series Half & Half as Marcus in 2005.
The following year, Sulieman was featured in the short Apocalypse Oz. Then, in 2007, he landed one of his most popular roles, Dre Woods, in the TV series All My Children. He reprised the role for 46 episodes until 2008. All My Children is centered on Erica Kane, played by Susan Lucci and her several spouses, and is set in the fictional East Coast town of Pine Valley.
Again in 2007, Sulieman was featured in another TV series, The Bold and the Beautiful as Chris, and one video, High School Musical: The Concert - Extreme Access Pass. He also played the role of Reed Armstead in the 2008 TV movie Ibanker. In the following years, he appeared in several TV series such as Bones (2009), Desire and Deceit (2010), Hannah Montana (2009-2010), and more.
Then in 2010, Sulieman landed another of his well-recognized roles, Harper, in the popular television show, The Vampire Diaries. The show centers on Stefan, played by Paul Wesley, and his brother Damon Salvatore, played by Ian Somerhalder, as they return to Mystic Fall, Virginia, where they first lived.
There, Stefan meets Elena Gilbert, played by Nina Dobrev, a high school student, and falls in love with her right away. However, Damon is also interested in Elena Gilbert because he wants revenge from his brother for turning him into a vampire in 1864.

Sulieman's other popular role was in the TV series Pretty Little Liars (2012) as Nate St. Germain. Since then, he has starred in credits such as The Game (TV series 2015), First Comes Like (movie 2016), Couch People (TV series 2018), Station 19 (TV series 2018-2019), The Rookie (TV Series 2021), Earth Girl (TV mini-series 2022), and many more.

Sulieman's parents are both doctors. He also has a sister named Yasmeen Sulieman, a singer. In an interview with Talk Nerdy With Us in 2018, he talked about his parents and said, "My parents were always very encouraging as far as acting. I think they both have artistic streaks; they are doctors, but they have their own artistic streaks."
He continued, "So they were always taking my sister and I to see theater and shows, basically anything artsy that came through town. We started doing after-school programs in theater, kind of from the get-go."
Sulieman has also posted some photos of his family on his Instagram account. On 2 February 2021, he shared a picture of himself with his parents, sister, and dog on the beach. In addition, Sulieman also wished his mother on the occasion of mother's day on 9 May 2021.
