Selena Anduze is an actress born to her parents in a multiethnic family. She is of French, Algerian, Jewish, Swedish, Danish, Native American Indian, and Puerto Rican descent.
A native of the United States Virgin Island of Saint Croix, Anduze began her career as a performing artist at a very young age of seven. At age nine, she was the youngest performer to win the Miss U.S. Virgin Island title at the World Modeling Association Awards in New York City.
As a teenager, Anduze moved to New York and performed in numerous regional theaters while pursuing her art education in high school at Phillips Exeter Academy in New Hampshire. Following high school, she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature, General from Wesleyan University in 1997. She also earned a Masters/Ph.D. in Health Science from Clayton College.

Anduze made her on-screen acting debut in 2014, appearing as June Sky in the television series Atlanta Law. After that, she appeared in a string of television series, including The Originals, MacGyver, and Bosch, before landing a notable role as Paige in Netflix’s 2018 supernatural horror drama miniseries The Haunting of Hill House.
In 2019, she portrayed the role of Caroline Woodrue on DC Universe’s superhero horror series Swamp Thing, alongside Crystal Reed, Derek Mears, and Jeryl Prescott. She then played Agent Rodrguez in the Disney + action comedy-drama miniseries WandaVision.
Anduze’s other television series credits included The Originals (2016), MacGyver (2016), Bosch (2018), and S.W.A.T. (2020). She also appeared in several films, including Come Sunday (2018), Venom (2018), Doctor Sleep (2019), and Sunday Mornings (2021).
Most recently, Anduze appeared in television series like Creepshow and New Amsterdam in 2021. In addition, she will be appearing in upcoming films On a Wing and a Prayer and The Last Call.

Anduze married her husband Yano Anaya on 26 June 2009. Her husband is a film actor, body transformation expert, and exercise science educator.
Born in Miami, Florida, on 16 May 1972, Anaya grew up in San Francisco Valley with his older sister, actress Katy Kurtzman. He began acting as a child actor and gained recognition with his debut film. He is best known for his role as Grover Dill in the 1983 Christmas comedy film A Christmas Story.
He then appeared as a young Michael Anthony in Van Halen’s 1984 iconic music video titled ‘Hot for Teacher.’ The following year, he appeared as a paperboy in the 1985 surrealist teen dark comedy film Better Off Dead… He then appeared as Yano in the romantic comedy thriller film The Blue Iguana, alongside Dylan McDermott and Dean Stockwell.
In 1990, Anaya graduated from James Monroe High School, California, and then shifted her career path to health and fitness. As of January 2012, he was the Director of the personal trainer program at the Atlanta School of Massage.
After more than three decades of a gap, Anaya returned to acting, portraying the role of Kylie’s Uncle in the 2021 musical comedy-drama film Sunday Mornings.
