Who Is Rob Marciano?

Rob Marciano is an American meteorologist and reporter who works for ABC News. He earned his bachelor's degree in meteorology from Cornell University. He is also a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist and carries the American Meteorological Society Seal of Approval (CBM).

Marciano joined ABC News in September 2014 and contributed to all the network's broadcasts and digital platforms. Before joining ABC, Marciano worked for Entertainment Tonight, where he co-anchored the show's nightly weekday thirty-minute edition and the weekend sixty-minute edition. He worked with ET for twenty months and co-hosted his last episode of Entertainment Tonight on 27 August 2014.

However, Marciano initially rose to fame while working for CNN Worldwide in Atlanta from 2003 to 2012 as a meteorologist, occasional reporter, and substitute anchor. Before that, he worked as the lead meteorologist for KATU-TV and 750 KXL News Radio in Portland, Oregon, until joining CNN in May 2003.

Between 1994 to 1997, he served for KPLC-TV in Lake Charles, Louisiana, as a morning and then chief meteorologist, and afterward as a weather reporter for WVIT Connecticut News 30 in West Hartford, Connecticut.
