He has performed on Moscow's stages in productions like Dostoevsky's Crime and Punishment and Gogol's Inspector General. He stands at the height of 5 feet 10½ inches.
Relocating to the USA in the early 1990s to follow his career as an actor, Lychnikoff made his TV debut in an episode of NYPD Blue in 1996. The actor made more than 40 guest appearances before being a series regular on CBS's Big Apple.
Lychnikoff has appeared in various famous TV series such as Deadwood, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Stranger Things, and Big Bang Theory.
