She also revealed that her parents wanted her to become a doctor or a lawyer. And also that they were not supportive of her pursuing arts and acting.
Manifest is a drama, horror, and crime TV series in which Kaur played the role of Saanvi Bahl, a researcher, since its premiere in 2018. The show follows a flight full of passengers who land five and a half years after their flight took off, with no time lost to the passengers. Kaur's character Saanvi helps develop a new treatment for leukemia, a disease that one of the other passengers is suffering from, and assists everyone on the plane determine what happened to them.
In an interview with HerCampus, she was asked about what got her engaged in the role of Saanvi in 2018. She then said that she found Manifest's script the best one among her options.
