Nicholas Coombe is an actor born on 27 December 1994 in Kyneton, Australia, and raised in Perth, Western Australia.
Coombe wanted to be a performer since he was a child and was already taking tap, jazz, and ballet lessons at the age of six. He transitioned to musical theater at nine and was completely hooked.
Coombe then signed with an agent in Perth and began doing commercial work and some student projects before moving to Vancouver, Canada. He debuted his acting career in the TV series Sleepover Club in 2006. Then, in 2009; he was featured in two TV shows, Stormworld, and Telethon. In the following years, he appeared in credits such as Drawn Home (short 2010), Doctor Who: Resistance (movie 2013), Arctic Air (TV series 2013-2014), Supernatural (TV Series 2014), Imaginary Mary (TV series 2017), The Magicians (TV series 2018), and more.
In 2019, Coombe landed a lead role in Dora and the Lost City of Gold alongside Isabela Merced, Eva Longoria, and Michael Pena. He then appeared in Search and Destroy (TV movie 2019) and 68 Whiskey (TV series 2020), before getting cast in the television show The Wilds in 2022.

Coombe played the role of Josh Herbert, an awkward, nervous type who takes several homeopathic supplements to deal with his chronic stress, unlike the rest of his athletic, tennis-playing family.

In an interview with Screenrant in May 2022, when asked how he prepared for his character, he replied, "to prep for the character, I just did the classic character research on Josh and his family backstory. But I also was ready to get thrown into the environment and see what happened."
In addition, Coombe also has an upcoming comedy film titled 1UP, where he will be starring opposite Paris Berelc, Ruby Rose, and Taylor Zakhar-Perez. The film is expected to release on 15 July 2022 and revolves around a gamer who quits her college sports team because of sexism from her male teammates.
