Chi Nguyen is a Vietnamese-Australian actress best known for portraying the teenage character Jeanette Dao in the Amazon Prime series, The Wilds. She appeared in a total of three series episodes through two seasons from 2020 to 2022.
Nguyen began her acting journey in 2017 with a minor role in the short movie Iridescent. The following year, she landed a role in the feature film Repent or Perish, in which she played the role of Stella. Similarly, his other acting credits include Fisk (2021 TV series), Phi and Me (2022 TV Movie), etc.

Chi Nguyen is a person of Vietnamese nationality born and brought up in Vietnam. Currently, she has not revealed her age and birthdate in the media. However, according to a recent article dated 8 April 2022 on sampan.org, she is 24 years old.
Nguyen developed an interest in performing arts, especially acting, from a very young age. She used to regularly perform and participate in almost all the activities in her school. Later, when she turned 16, she independently moved to Australia to follow her passion and live her dream of becoming an actress.
However, moving to a country so far from her homeland was not as easy for Nguyen. Her parents wanted her to either become a doctor or choose IT or Business as a career. But, she deeply wanted to become an actor right from day zero. She also talked about her parents’ insecurity about sending her to a foreign land for studies in her interview with dscribe.net.au in 2019. She said,
“They worried a lot because they barely heard of anyone studying abroad and choosing acting before, especially in Vietnam. Students usually choose Business, IT or Doctor (medicine) because those majors are easier to find a job after graduation and it’s more stable.”
After years of convincing her parents, Nguyen then moved to Australia and studied acting at the Victorian College of Arts. Moreover, at the college, she was the recipient of the 'Grace Marion Wilson Scholarship' for her Excellence in Acting.

The Vietnam-born actress Nguyen seems to be a private person as she has not shared many details of her personal life affairs in the media and the public. However, a few posts and pictures on her Instagram handle @_chinguyen_ suggest she is romantically linked with a person named Ryan Pham.
On 16 August 2018, Nguyen shared a series of romantic and funny pictures of the pair on the handle. Alongside the photos, she shared a short status wishing Ryan a happy three years of togetherness. It further makes it clear that the pair began their love life around seven years ago, in August 2015. Her caption read,
“Three happy years with this snorlax ♥ï¸ celebratory ice-cream should now be a tradition. To many more!”
Her last Instagram post featuring Ryan was on 29 November 2019, when she shared a picture of him from one of their video calls. After that, there were no posts on her account linking up to him. It has raised questions amongst her fans about if they are still together in 2022. However, we can only make assumptions regarding their relationship as Nguyen has not made any public announcement yet.
