Feedbacks during Pregnancy

Kolkmeyer publicly shared some notes and statements from viewers and the public during her pregnancies. In a clip that aired on WGN Morning News in November 2019, she read some of the negative social media comments she received on social media about her fashion choices while pregnant.

In one of those comments, a viewer commented Kolkmeyer is pretty but wearing regular dresses in pregnancy looks trashy. Kolkmeyer later told Chicago Tribune that she usually chooses to laugh off such comments then be offended.

During her second pregnancy in July 2021, Kolkmeyer shared a list of things people said to her during her pregnancy. Red Finn Commercial

In early 2019, Redfin, a Seattle-based full-service real estate brokerage company, released a commercial featuring a lady who told about the services company provided. After the commercial aired, many people were confused if the lady in the clip was Kolkmeyer, as they somehow looked alike.

However, that was not the case; the part was played by the American actress Erin Cahill. She is well known for her roles like Jen Scotts in Power Rangers Time Force, Kendra Burke in Saving Grace, and Ted Mosby's sister Heather in How I Met Your Mother.

She has also appeared in the ABC series Red WidowCall of Duty: Black Ops II, and Resident Evil: Vendetta. Moreover, Cahill is also known for being the first lead female character in the Call of Duty franchise. Since 2016, the actress has mainly worked in television movies for Hallmark and Lifetime.

In May 2020, Kolkmeyer also confirmed that she was not the commercial for the Redfin. In the WGN program Chicago's Very Own, she mentioned that fans asked if the lady in the Redfin ad was her sister or cousins and wondered if she had a side job as an actress.

"That is indeed not the case. I'm not the person on the Redfin commercial," Kolkmeyer added. Nevertheless, she made a similar clip with the WGN team, which played simultaneously with the original Redfin advertisement.

After the clip was played, the Chicago's Very Own co-hosts noted that they looked similar in a few shots. One of them even joked if she would feature in an hour-long Hallmark movie.
