Former green beret Mike Glover served in the US Army for almost two decades before joining OGA as a federal contractor. He also served in the Special Forces as an SGM in numerous posts and deployed to combat regions multiple times.
Besides that, Glover is the founder and CEO of Fieldcraft Survival and an expert in counter-terrorism, surveillance, and crisis management missions. In addition, he is a keen hunter, outdoorsman, and overland enthusiast.

Mike Glover’s Everyday Weapon Carry
Glock 17 9mm pistol is also his favorite, holstered inside the waistband using a Fieldcraft Survival holster (IWB).
“A favorite gun of mine to carry is a Glock 17 which is a full-size semi-automatic striker fired pistol which acts as a single action only (SAO). A full-size Glock pistol is not the ideal handgun for concealed carry for most as the barrel length and overall length of the gun in general, as well as the size of the polymer frame and grip is a little big for most people,” he says.
He also carries a SIG P320X in a Patagonia Atom Sling 8L or a Fieldcraft Survival within the waistband belt (IWB).

Glover Encourages For Preparedness
Most of his training courses are based on the established military Special Operations curriculum to ensure it was good enough for Green Berets and Special Operations. Among his best-learned lessons during his military days, he said situational awareness and learning through experience and observing the environment are the two most important.
"We often neglect being prepared because we live isolated from the rest of world. Often we grow complacent and comfortable-until it’s to late. Your reaction is always slower than your preparation," he says.
His Fieldcraft Survival Team
The Fieldcraft Survival team consists of six experienced individuals, including Glover, that has come together to teach survival skills and other combat techniques.
