Began His Acting Career in 2013

Burke began his professional acting career in the 2013 movie Identity Thief, as Ken Talbott. The following year, he was featured in the TV series Halt and Catch Fire and Devious Maids, the TV movie The Novice, and the TV short Too Many Cooks.

Burke landed his breakthrough role in the movie Jurassic World as Jim Drucker in 2015. The film's plot revolves around a new theme park, built on the original Jurassic Park site, that produces genetically altered hybrid dinosaurs. On one occasion, their genetically induced Indominus Rex escapes protection and goes on a killing spree.

In 2016, he was featured as Chad, for one episode, in the TV series Nashville. The following year, he made his appearance in another TV series, Six as Nick. He portrayed the role for five episodes.
