Horcher made her acting debut, guest-starring in the television series My Parents, My Sister & Me in 2010. She made her first breakthrough as Chloe Solano in the television miniseries Gracepoint in 2014. Subsequently, she scored her first film role as Katie Goldman in the 2015 film Curve.

Notable Performance on 'Doom Patrol'
Horcher portrayed the role of a living psychic medium, Crystal Palace, in Season 3 Episode 3 titled 'Dead Patrol' of a superhero series Doom Patrol. The outcasted superheros' team is kidnapped into the afterlife in the third episode of the third season.
They rely on the members of Dead Boy Detective Agency, Edwin Paine (played by Ty Tennant), Charles Rowland (played by Sebastian Croft), and Crystal Palace (played by Horcher), to solve paranormal mysteries and save them from certain death.
Based on characters created for DC by Arnold Drake, Bob Haney, and Bruno Premiani, Doom Patrol premiered on 15 February 2019. On 16 October 2021, HBO Max renewed the series for a fourth season.
Reprising role on 'Dead Boy Detectives'
In September 2021, HBO Max announced the pilot for a Dead Boy Detectives series based on the DC character from the comic of the same name. The announcement came shortly after the news that the characters of the upcoming series would be featured in Doom Patrol Season 3.
Horcher even asked Doom Patrol fans and the Dead Boy Detective team to tweet using hashtag #KeepTheDeadBoysCast to be a part of the HBO pilot. However, none of them were attached to the pilot. HBO Max instead picked George Rexstrew, Jayden Revri, and Kassius Nelson as the main cast for the show.
According to Screen Rant, 'Dead Boy Detectives' is one of DC's unfamiliar comics created in the early 1990s, which has made relatively few appearances. The HBO pilot is designed to bring the characters into the public consciousness and expand the Doom Patrol universe after the third season.
The comic follows two teenagers - Edwin Paine and Charles Rowland - who were murdered at St. Hilarion's Boarding School. When the two spirits meet, they start up a detective agency together to investigate crimes involving the supernatural. Charles later saves the life of Crystal Palace, and she joins the agency as a living psychic medium.
