Who is Kevin Kilner?
Kevin Kilner was born on 13 May 1958 in Baltimore, Maryland. He initially did not gravitate towards a career in acting. Instead, he studied B.A. in Social and Behavioral Sciences at John Hopkins University.
As a college student, he played lacrosse for the three-time NCAA National Lacrosse Championship winning team, Blue Jay. In addition, in 1981, he won the 'Unsung Hero Award' at the NCAA championship.
After college, Kilner began his career as a Commercial Banker in Baltimore, first as a credit analyst and subsequently as a loan officer to Fortune 500 businesses. Perdue Chicken, Black & Decker, and Gannett News were among his clients. Then, he worked as an office manager for a mortgage banking firm. Eventually, he relocated to New York to become an actor in 1985.
Kilner's television introduction role was in a 1989 episode of The Cosby Show. Then in 1990, he played the role of Charlie Raski in Murder in Paradise.
Subsequently, he landed minor roles in various projects. He appeared in Sons and Daughters, Knots Landing, L.A. Law, Tales from the Crypt, Under Surveillance, Empty Nest, Lady Against the Odds, Heartbeat, and Camp Wilder, among others.
Kilner's career-defining roles were on Almost Perfect as Mike Ryan from 1995 to 1996, followed by Earth: Final Conflict as William Boome from 1997 to 2001, A Cinderella Story in 2004, One Tree Hill as Larry Sawyer from 2005 to 2006, and The 1/2 Hour News Hour as Jack McCrany in 2007.
