He started as a freelance reporter for Eyewitness News in 2003 and was promoted to morning and noon anchor in 2007. On 13 March 2007, Rosato took over for Steve Bartelstein, who had been fired from WABC-TV.

He went to Regis High School in New York City and later graduated from New York University to continue a bachelor's degree in film, television, and radio. Upon completing his undergraduate studies, he earned a master's degree in Spanish and Italian. 

Rosato has been passionate about broadcasting since the age of 12. He also aired his news program on a local channel in his hometown, New Rochelle.

He started as a freelance reporter for Eyewitness News in 2003 and was promoted to morning and noon anchor in 2007. On 13 March 2007, Rosato took over for Steve Bartelstein, who had been fired from WABC-TV. 

As of now, Rosato co-hosts the morning newscasts on WABC-TV with Shirleen Allicot. He anchors ABC 7's Eyewitness News This Morning from 4.30 to 7 a.m. every morning. The station encompasses New York City, New Jersey, Long Island, and the surrounding areas.

The journalist joined WABC-TV from WNYW-TV in New York, where he worked as a reporter and anchor for the morning and midday news. He formerly served at WFOR-TV in Miami/Fort Lauderdale as a news correspondent, where he was nominated for a Suncoast Emmy Award.

He was previously an anchor for WETM-TV in Elmira/Binghamton, NY, where he received a New York State Associated Press Award. Rosato also served at WLNY-TV as a news director and anchor, and he was a regular commentator on WLIW-21 TV's Edition.

In addition, he has covered the news on 1010 WINS, the nation's #1 all-news radio station, and served as News Director and main anchor at WBLI-FM on Long Island.

He Had a Kidney Surgery

In April 2010, Rosato was out of work for three weeks because of surgery. He was informed long ago that one of his kidneys was non-functional and would eventually need to be removed. 

After it became symptomatic, his doctors felt it needed to be removed as soon as possible. Thankfully, his other kidney is in perfect working order.

Rosato also took to his social media to thank his well-wishers. "Thanks so much to my wonderful WABC family and to all of you who've sent so many well-wishes!" He wrote.
