The journalist joined WABC-TV from WNYW-TV in New York, where he worked as a reporter and anchor for the morning and midday news. He formerly served at WFOR-TV in Miami/Fort Lauderdale as a news correspondent, where he was nominated for a Suncoast Emmy Award.
He was previously an anchor for WETM-TV in Elmira/Binghamton, NY, where he received a New York State Associated Press Award. Rosato also served at WLNY-TV as a news director and anchor, and he was a regular commentator on WLIW-21 TV's Edition.

He Had a Kidney Surgery
In April 2010, Rosato was out of work for three weeks because of surgery. He was informed long ago that one of his kidneys was non-functional and would eventually need to be removed.
After it became symptomatic, his doctors felt it needed to be removed as soon as possible. Thankfully, his other kidney is in perfect working order.
Rosato also took to his social media to thank his well-wishers. "Thanks so much to my wonderful WABC family and to all of you who've sent so many well-wishes!" He wrote.
