Joshua Orpin is an Australian actor best known as Conner Kent/Superboy in the superhero television series Titans.

Who is Joshua Orpin?

Joshua Orpin is an actor born in Melbourne, Australia, on 15 April 1994. He began acting in a school play at the age of nine when he learned his passion for performing. He later kicked off his professional acting career in 2017, appearing as Groom in the short film Dark Horses. He later appeared in short films like Getting Ready (2018) and Mother Dearest (2020).

Orpin made his film debut in the comedy-drama film The Neon Spectrum, portraying the role of Axel. He then appeared as Damien in the 2019 drama film Highest Point. He made his first television appearance as Constable Peter Crowe in Season 6 Episode 2, titled 'The Blake Mysteries: Ghost Stories' on the ABC mystery crime drama series The Doctor Blake Mysteries in 2018.

He then appeared as Insecure Student in Season 4 Episode 2 titled 'Last Supper' of the AMC supernatural adventure series Preacher in 2019. The same year, he played Matty in Season 1 Episode 5 titled 'Day Five' of the Fox Showcase comedy-drama series Upright.

He also landed his breakout role as Conner Kent/Superboy in the DC Universe/HBO Max superhero series Titans. In 2021, he played Kai in one episode of the BINGE television miniseries Love Me.

'Titans'

Titans is an action-adventure television series that follows a team of young superheroes combating evil and other perils. The series premiered on DC Universe on 12 October 2018.

Orpin joined the cast of Titans in Season 2 Episode 6 titled 'Conner,' which premiered on 11 October 2019. He was cast in the role of Subject 13, a.k.a. Conner Kent, and nicknamed Superboy. His version of Superboy is a clone created in Cadmus Labs using the DNA of Superman and Lex Luthor. Superboy eventually escapes from the lab, is being taken in by the Titans, and uses his powers for good.

In an interview with Geek Vibes Nation in March 2020, he said that after getting the part, he bought every comic book he could find involving Superboy or the Teen Titans to research the character Conner/Superboy.

Titans moved to HBO Max for its third season, which premiered on 12 August 2021. In October 2021, the series was renewed for Season 4.

Orpin has remained private about his personal life as he has never publicly revealed whether he is dating anyone. 

On 27 March 2020, he posted a funny video with Asha Rosie Khan. His fans queried whether she was his girlfriend. However, he didn't address the query of her fans.
