Who is Joe Zolper?

Joe Zolper is an American lead mechanic, TV host, and car enthusiast. He was born into a family of mechanics and grew up on his grandfather's farm in Joliet, Illinois. However, there is no information about his birth date.

Zolper had wanted to be a diesel mechanic since he was in third grade. He worked on dirt bikes and assisted his father and brother with their automobiles as a kid.

Zolper was instilled with a strong work ethic at a young age and preferred to be referred to as a "farm boy" rather than a "country boy."

Zolper says, "Even at a young age, I would be sitting there with my toys tearing them apart to see how they worked, and then how I could make them go faster."

Jennifer used their wedding money to purchase a 1971 Black Dodge Demon. With the help of family and friends, she rebuilt the car and installed a 440 big block with nitrous under the hood. After a year of searching, she later wanted a vehicle with a full tube chassis and found a 1973 Plymouth Duster in 2016.

In an interview with Dragzine in 2017, she said, "I am a businesswoman, wife, mom, and a racecar driver. Racecars can make or break a family, but in our case it brings our family closer and is a great learning experience for us and our daughter. Racing is a wonderful experience and this family lives it's life to the fullest everyday! Always remember, do what makes you happy! I know I am."
