Education

He attended Evergreen State College for his bachelor’s degree in science. After that, he joined Life Chiropractic College Atlanta and studied chiropractic. Dispenza graduated with a doctor of chiropractic degree with Magna cum Laude. While there, he earned a PI TAU DELTA Graduate Award for clinical excellence proficiency and most extensive clinical practice. 

In addition, Dispenza studied biochemistry at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, N.J. His post-graduate specializations include cellular biology, neuroscience and neuroplasticity, memory formation, epigenetics, QEEG measures, mind-body medicine, and brain/heart coherence. 

Career as a Researcher

As a researcher, Dispenza has investigated the science underlying spontaneous remissions and how people heal themselves of chronic illnesses and other deadly diseases. During his advanced seminars, he has also collaborated with other scientists to conduct significant research on the effects of meditation. 

According to the website of Life University, Dr. Dispenza and his team use electroencephalograms (EEGs) to map the brain and a gas discharge visualization (GDV) machine to test individual energy fields. They also use HeartMath monitors to track heart coherence and a GDVSputnik sensor to track energy levels in the workshop before, during, and after the exercises. Furthermore, he intends to add epigenetic testing to this project in the near future.

Career as a Chiropractor 

Dispenza has been a chiropractor and the director of Rainier Chiropractic Clinic for the past three decades. The clinic was established in 1988 near Olympia, Washington. According to his LinkedIn bio, he uses integrated holistic family practice to treat patients and manage physical, chemical, and mental health concerns.

Career as a Lecturer and a Trainer

In addition to working as a chiropractor at his clinic, Dr. Dispenza also conducts several lectures and workshops about the role and function of the human brain worldwide. The book was published on 31 October 2017 by Hay House. It is based on research undertaken at Dispenza’s advanced workshops since 2012, and it examines how ordinary people are transforming themselves and their lives.

The book included topics like ‘Demystifying the body’s 7 energy centers and how you can balance them to heal,’ ‘How to free yourself from the past by reconditioning your body to a new mind,’ ‘How you can create reality in the generous present moment by changing your energy,’ and ‘The difference between third-dimension creation and fifth-dimension creation,’ among others.

The book was released on 29 April 2014. It was declared an Amazon Bestseller and hit the New York Times Bestseller list within one week of its launch.

In the book, Dr. Dispenza discussed multiple recorded stories of people who have successfully treated cancer, heart illness, depression, debilitating arthritis, and even Parkinson’s disease symptoms by believing in a placebo.
