Jessica Renee Holmes is an American journalist born on 17 November 1978 in Cleaveland, Ohio. Her parents raised her in Cape Coral, Florida. Also, she completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Radio and Television from the University of Central Florida in 2000.
She began her career as an intern at Nickelodeon in 1999. Six months after she joined, she was already co-hosting the 2002 'Florida Motion Picture and Television Association's 'Outstanding Children's Program,' Slime Time Live.
Subsequently, in 2003, Holmes moved to New York, where she began hosting the reality-show Bragging Rights. It was aired by Outdoor Life Network, where male participants contested outdoor sports challenges.
Then, in 2005 she won the KTLA Morning News organized reality show competition, The Audition. The winning rank gave her a part of the weathercaster at KTLA Prime News. Eventually, she rose to the position of co-anchoring LA's top-rated KTLA Morning News. She hosts alongside Megan Henderson, Mark Mester, and Lynette Romero.
Furthermore, Holmes has been the celebrity face of KTLA as she is invited to red carpet events throughout the year. She also reported the Royal Wedding from London, hosted a cooking segment with Martha Stewart, and interviewed Jermaine Jackson after her brother Michael Jackson's death. Eventually, she started sharing her favorite recipes for quick and simple weeknight dinners, delightful dishes, and seasonal buffets, among others. She also reported on the rich and thriving culinary industry in the Los Angeles area, highlighting top restaurants and speaking with the creative chefs behind them.

Eventually, on 3 May 2022, she gave birth to a baby boy and disclosed that he was named Theo David Solomon. She updated her fans on her Instagram and added, "Baby boy is still in the hospital getting stronger everyday…we hope to have him home in a couple of days.
