O'Mara married his now ex-wife Paige Turco on 19 September 2003. The pair got engaged nine months after they started dating, with O'Mara popping the question when they were on vacation in Jamaica.
O'Mara previously claimed he was drawn to Turco because she is "strong and assertive," and the couple tried everything to keep their romance alive.
In a 2012 interview, he stated: "I go for strong and assertive women. As my wife would attest, she knows what she likes, and I like a woman who knows what she wants. We try to have romantic evenings at other points in the year not just Valentine's Day. I tend to get a gift and go out to dinner, but what we like to do is special things throughout the year."
They were married for nearly 14 years before eventually parting ways in May 2017, citing "irreconcilable differences." Neither party has yet disclosed the actual reason for their separation. However, it was Turco who initiated the divorce procedure.
