Glenn Marshall is a Chicago-native news anchor, news content creator, and traffic reporter. Currently, he is working as a full-time morning news reporter at the Chicago-based TV station, WGN TV.
Marshall joined WGN around two years ago, in August 2020. Before that, he was working at the CBS affiliate channel WGCL-TV in Atlanta as their traffic anchor and breaking news reporter. Simultaneously with WGCL, he worked as a freelance reporter and producer at The Weather Channel.
The Chicagoan journalist started in the journalism industry in January 2011 as a Desk Assistant at NBC Chicago. Nine months later, he received a promotion and became a news associate writing news articles and making news videos for nbcchicago.com.
Marshall left NBC in August 2012 and joined WICS TV in Illinois, Chicago. There, he stayed for one year and three months working in the position of general assignment reporter. His roles included interviewing people for daily news, writing and editing news stories for daily newscasts, and covering breaking news and events in the Springfield Area.
After WICS, Marshall moved to the Greater Boston Area in August 2014 to begin his tenure at NBC. He initially joined the network as a reporter trainee.
