Gina Gaston Elie is a television journalist who works for KTRK-TV as the lead anchor.

Where has Gina Gaston been?

Gina Gaston Elie is a journalist who worked as an anchor and reporter at WTSP-TV, WHTM-TV, and KLTV, before joining 13 Eyewitness News in 1992. 

Gaston began working for KTRK-TV, ABC13, as a co-anchor for 13 Eyewitness News at 6 a.m. However, she left the station in 1999, when she moved to New York to work for MSNBC.

During Gaston's time at MSNBC, she was a network correspondent, covering the 2000 presidential election. She also served for NBC's Weekend Today show as an anchor.

In June 2001, she returned to ABC13 as a reporter and co-anchor, working for Eyewitness News at 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. 

While also covering for ABC News, she started working for Disney ABC Television Group in 2011. Gaston has been working for ABC News for over 21 years and Disney ABC Television Group for 11 years.

During Gaston's career as a television news reporter for over 30 years, she has received several awards, such as 'Emmy Awards' and 'Gracie Allen Awards.' She was also named 'Best Anchor' two times by the Houston Press.

Gina Gaston Elie was born on 14 January 1966 in Oxnard, CA. She is a native of Santa Barbara. 

Gaston received her bachelor's degree from the University of Southern California with a minor in international relations and a major in journalism and communications.

Husband: Gina and Mario Eli

Gina married Mario Elie, an NBA coach and three-time NBA Champion. The couple met while Gaston worked at MSNBC and covered a Rocket championship game. 

Other than that, they have not disclosed information on their wedding or marriage date. But they occasionally wish each other on their social media. For example, on 14 January 2021, Mario wished Gina on his Instagram. He captioned, "Happy birthday Gina. Many, many more. Rock of the Elie family." 

Mario was a former Houston Rockets player and now works as an assistant coach for the Orlando Magic.

Mario played in the NBA for 11 years with six different teams, the most notable of which were the Houston Rockets and the San Antonio Spurs.

In addition to that, from 2003 to 2004, he was an assistant coach of the San Antonio Spurs, then from 2004 to 2006 season for Golden State Warriors. 

Followed by that at the 2006/07 game season, he was a pre-and post-game host for the Houston Rockets' FOX Sports Net telecasts. Subsequently, from 2007 to 2009, he was an assistant coach to Dallas Mavericks, moving on to the Brooklyn Nets in 2011.

Gaston and Mario Elie are the parents of triplets, two boys, Glenn and Gaston, and one girl, Lauren. There is not much information about Gaston's parents or other family members. 

House

According to Culture Map's Steven Devadanam, Gaston and her husband, Mario Elie, listed their 7,560 square foot house, built-in 1996, on the market for $3 million.

The home is located on the street in the middle of Piney Point Village, surrounded by trees. It has six bedrooms, six full bathrooms, an island kitchen that opens to the breakfast room, two dens, game and media rooms, and a home gym.

The house also includes a basketball half-court, a three-car garage, an additional parking court, and an outdoor summer kitchen.

Furthermore, however, Gaston and her husband have not disclosed their net worth or income. Some sites have speculated it to be in the number of millions, but have not been authenticated.
