Erdenetuya Seagal is an actress and professional dancer. She is also recognized as the wife of renowned American actor Steven Seagal.

Short Bio

Erdenetuya Seagal, also known as Elle Seagal, is a famous Mongolian professional dancer and actress. She holds credit as an actress for her brief appearance in the 2019 film General Commander. 

Erdenetuya is also a dancer, primarily specializing in ballroom dancing. She started her dance practice and training at a young age at Children's Palace dance school in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. 

Upon graduating from there, she began her professional dancing career. She has also won multiple dancing competitions and was regarded as Mongolia's top female dancer.

Moreover, Erdenetuya is also recognized as the wife of famous American martial artist and actor Steven Seagal.

Marriage with Steven Seagal

Erdenetuya married the American actor Steven Seagal in 2009. The pair first met in 2001 in Mongolia while Steven was there to manage funds for making a film about the great Mongol Emperor, Genghis Khan.

Erdenetuya initially worked as a language interpreter for Steven. Later, she also assisted him on several projects for around five years. The couple eventually transformed their relationship from professional to personal. Erdenetuya and Steven dated for several years and finally exchanged wedding vows in 2009.

Family of Three

The Seagal couple has spent over 12 years together. They became parents to their only son Kinzang Seagal on 17 September 2009. The whole family has appeared together in public frequently.

Most recently, they were seen in the Russian Victory Day celebration on 9 May 2019. Steven has also shared several event pictures on his official Instagram handle. "We need to learn from history and do anything and everything in our power to make sure this never happens again.
It was a tremendous honor for me and my family to have attended such an important, moving event," he captioned it.

Erdenetuya is Steven Seagal's fourth wife. He has been divorced three times.

Steven married his first wife, Miyako Fujitani, the daughter of an aikido instructor, while in Japan. He married Miyako Fujitani in 1974 and divorced in 1987. From their 13 years of marriage, they were parents to their two children, daughter Ayako Fujitani and son Kentaro Seagal.

Steven then married the American actress Adrienne La Russa in 1984. The couple tied the knot before Steven's divorce with Miyako was finalized. Thus, it led to the nullification of his second marriage the same year.

Steven got married for the third time to American model Kelly LeBrock in September 1987. He and Kelly are parents to three children, daughters Annaliza and Arissa, and son Dominic. However, the pair cited irreconcilable differences and got a legal divorce in 1996.

Assault Allegation Against Her Husband

Erdenetuya's husband, Steven Seagal, has been the subject of several lawsuits and sexual assault allegations in the past. However, all the actor's sexual misconduct was before he married Erdenetuya.

A decade back, during their marriage, Steven's former assistant and former model, Kayden Nguyen, filed a $1 million lawsuit against the actor. Kayden claimed that the actor used her as his "sex toy" rather than his professional assistant. 

Two more women also apparently signed sworn affidavits supporting Nguyen's claim. Both women worked for Steven but left after he reportedly made unwanted sexual attempts toward them, similar to Nguyen.

However, there has been no disclosure on whether the allegation is true. Moreover, Steven has denied every accusation that has come his way. Similarly, Erdenetuya has also remained silent regarding the matter.

On the other hand, Steven's third wife, LeBrock, referred to him as a Hollywood tragedy in a December 2021 interview with Page Six. "I feel sorry for the man," she said. "I think that he's just a very sad person and he is what I would call a tragedy of Hollywood."

She continued: "I believe he was very bullied as a child, very sickly, very weak and I guess people who are treated that way as children end up becoming lost as they age. I wish him all the best."
