He authored the book 'Marriage Ain't For Punks: A No-Nonsense Guide to Building A Lasting Relationship' and published it in September 2021. As the title suggests, the book provides its readers with useful instruction to make their marriage work.

Furthermore, Roberson is also an ordained minister of Progression Church. He has taken his profession into reality shows and appears on the expert panel of the successful series Married At First Sight (2016-Present).

Calvin Roberson was born in South Boston, Virginia, the USA, on 7 July 1961.

Growing up in South Boston, Roberson was a bright student and dedicated most of his time to his studies. His ultimate aim was to become a pastor and serve his religion.

He went to Oakwood University in Alabama for higher education. He joined the university in 1979 and graduated from there in 1983 with a Bachelor's degree in Music and Theological Studies.

Right out of Oakwood University, he moved to Michigan to enroll in Andrews University. There he gained the Master of Divinity title. Furthermore, he attended Capital University Law School in Columbus and received a law degree.

'Married At First Sight'

The ongoing dating reality series, Married At First Sight follows a plot where a group of unacquainted men and women get ready to walk down the aisle with each other. The show features a team of relationship experts and marriage counselors who match the couples based on several factors like their career, personality, nature, etc.

Premiered on 8 July 2014, the first four seasons aired on A&E's FYI channel. After that, another A&E affiliate, Lifetime, acquired the rights and has ever since remained the show's official broadcaster.

Roberson joined Married At First Sight in 2016 as an expert team member. In particular, he appeared on the show as a marriage counselor and a pastor. Beginning in 2016, i.e., from season 4 of the show, he continuously served in the series until season 13, i.e., until November 2021.

Wife

Roberson married his wife Wendy in January 2009. The couple recently completed their 13 years of marriage. Moreover, on their 13th wedding anniversary, Roberson shared a romantic picture with his wife on Instagram and wished her via a long romantic post. The message in the post read,

Screaming the happiest of anniversaries to my wife, confidant, lover, best friend, sometimes debate opponent, but always forever ride or die chick! We're gonna ride this till the wheels come off baby!! Love you always and forever!

Wendy formerly worked as a practicing nurse. After several years in the profession, she quit it to pursue a career in leadership management, which she was passionate about.

As of now, she helps her husband Roberson organize workshops and conferences and holds the position of a co-facilitator at their franchise, Marriage Ain't For Punks.

Roberson is the father of his three kids. In addition, he welcomed a daughter into his life from his longtime marriage with Wendy. 

In addition, he also has two sons from his previous marriage. As of now, the Roberson family lives in Atlanta, Georgia.
