Husband

Brooke was married to her husband Chris, with whom she shared two sons, Christian and Connor.

The couple used to run The Life Coach School together. In an interview with Maggie Reyes in 2016, she mentioned Chris was in charge of the company's day-to-day operations, finances, and customer service. At the same time, she was to market, strategic planning, product development, and coaching.

In the same interview in 2016, Castillo said, "We have a wonderful marriage and partnership due to open communication and commitment to having fun."

Unfortunately, according to episode 338 of Castillo's podcast, The Life Coach School Podcast, the couple parted ways in late 2019 and decided not to be business partners and pursue their romantic relationship any longer.

Castillo also said on the podcast, "It was such a beautiful thing that we were able to do because neither one of us left because we hated each other or we were unhappy, or we were trying to fix something."

However, she mentioned that they are very dedicated as parents, good friends, and family.

Weight loss

Castillo lost 31.8 kg (70 lbs) after struggling with emotional eating and weight gain in the past.

She noticed that overeating was only a side effect of other issues she was going through. She reasoned that it was all about a person's cognitive state that causes them to overeat.

In addition, Castillo explained that the end of a weight loss journey could be scary if a person has not established the skills, self-esteem, and self-image that frees them from using food to process their feelings.

She also talked about how procrastinating a dream can be non-ending in episode 162 of her podcast.

Castillo further said, "You can procrastinate your dreams right to your death. You have your dreams for a reason, and that reason is not just because of your own selfishness, that reason is because you're supposed to evolve yourself to the place where you can create them."
