Austin Hurd is a network technician who rose to TV fame after appearing in the reality series Married At First Sight in 2020.

Austin Hurd is a professional network technician. He became a face on TV when FYI hired him as one of the casts in their reality TV show Married At First Sight, which aired in early 2020. 

Later, he also became the cast of the show's spinoff series Married At First Sight: Couples' Cam in late 2020. 

Age, Birthday, and Early Bio

Austin's birthdate and his parents' information are unavailable on any verified internet sites. However, as per a report in distractify.com in December 2019, his age was 31 years, making him 33 years old. 

In addition, on his birthday in 2020, his wife Jessica wished him via a post on her Instagram account on 18 September. Thus, suggesting that he was born on 18 September 1988.

Got Married

Austin married his wife, Jessica Studer, on 4 August 2019. They first met while auditioning for season 10 of FYI channel's reality series Married At First Sight in 2019. Later, they together appeared on the show as a couple in 2020.

After completing the series, the pair also starred in its spinoff series Married At First Sight: Couples' Cam. They appeared in 11 out of 15 episodes of the series.

Meeting At 'Married At First Sight'

The series follows the rule that strangers choose and marry their partner right at their first meeting. Season 10 premiered on the channel on 1 January 2020 and aired 15 episodes through 8 April 2020. Out of 5 couples that appeared on the show that season, Austin and Jessica are the only ones to have stayed together beyond the show's end.

In an exclusive interview with Distractify, Austin talked about their life after the show's end. He said, "Not a lot has changed since appearing on MAFS since it was so recent. We had a lot of traveling plans that are put on halt but it has given us time to look at adopting a dog, which is something we have talked about in the past."

He also added his family plans and what the viewers could expect from them. "We are still in our first year of marriage, and getting to know each [other]. Viewers can expect to see Austin and I getting to know each other and looking to expand our family."

Jessica Studer Short Bio

Jessica is an Ohio native nurse manager. Her birth information and parents' names are not available on verified media sources. 

However, according to one of the December 2019 articles on Distractify, she was 31 years old then. Thus, it is safe to assume she was born sometime in 1988, making her present-day age 33 years.

New Parents And Their Baby

Austin and his wife Jessica have recently become parents to their first child. They welcomed their baby boy Westin Paul on 4 November 2021. Jessica also shared pictures of their newborn child on her Instagram handle on 7 November 2021.

In July, they first announced Jessica's pregnancy in an exclusive statement with People Magazine. Later in October, they disclosed that they were having a baby boy. While revealing the information, the couple also added their enthusiasm for having a child. 

They expressed, "We are very excited that the newest addition to the Hurd fam is going to be a baby boy. Neither of us had a huge preference but now that we know it's a boy (we both guessed it would be), we can't wait to meet the little man. Austin is excited to pass on his passion for baseball and all things sports! And I'm excited to be a mommy!"

And following Westin's birth, the couple informed the magazine that the baby was born at 7 pounds and 12 ounces. They also added, "We're ALL doing great and are healthy just very tired. Thrilled to finally meet him and excited to bring him home."
