Who is Anthony Ruivivar?
Anthony Michael Ruivivar was born on 4 November 1970 in Honolulu, Hawaii. He studied at Boston University, completing with Bachelor in Fine Arts degree.
Ruivivar first appeared in the 1990 film Maverick Square. He had a minor role in the movie and appeared in several projects after that. In 1997, he was in Law & Order, after which, from 1999 to 2005, he played the role of Carlos Nieto on the series Third Watch. Third Watch is a popular American crime drama television series created by John Wells and Edward Allen Bernero. The show aired on NBC from 26 September 1999, to 6 May 2005, with 132 episodes extending over six seasons. Third Watch was produced by John Wells Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television. He appeared in all 132 episodes of the cop drama and played the role of a Filipino-American with Hawaiian roots who was raised in several foster homes after being left behind by his parents.
Then in 2007, he appeared as Agen Guillermo Borjes in the series Traveller, and the same year he was Detective Ruben Bejarano on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
Furthermore, he was also in the movie The Adjustment Bureau in 2011 as McCrady, while from 2010 to 2011, he was Alejo Salare on The Whole Truth. In addition, from 2013 to 2013, he was Batman or Bruce Waye on the series Beware the Batman, and from 2013 to 2014, he played the role of Alex Longshadow in the series Banshee.

Ruivivar has been married to Yvonne Jung since 1998. They have two children, son Kainoa Ruivivar, born on 28 August 2002, and daughter Levi Ruivivar born on 3 May 2006.
His daughter Levi is a national-level gymnast. On 14 March 2021, he congratulated his daughter on making it to the US National team.
