Andrea Anders is an American actress born on 10 May 1975 in Madison, WI. She graduated from DeForest Area High School in DeForest, Wisconsin, in 1993. 

After graduating from high school, Anders attended the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point and received a bachelor's degree in fine arts in 1997. Following that, she earned a master of fine arts from Rutgers University in New Jersey in 2001.

After graduating from Rutgers, Anders moved to the New York area to pursue her acting career. She spent two years in New York and then relocated to Los Angeles, where she worked on a few unsuccessful pilots before landing the role of Alex Garett in the TV series Joey (2004). She continued the part for two years, from 2004 until 2006.

Following Joey, she starred in several TV series like The Class (2006-2007), Numb3rs (2008), Better Off Ted (2009-2010), Necessary Roughness (2011), and more. 

Anders co-starred in the TV series Mr. Sunshine with creator Matthew Perry in 2011. ABC picked up the sitcom as a mid-season replacement for the 2010–11 television season. However, it was canceled by ABC in May 2011. Similarly, in 2014, she landed the role of Amber LaFontaine in the TV series Modern Family appearing in four episodes.

Anders's other credits include Daddy's Home 2 (Movie 2017), Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase (Movie 2019), Young Sheldon (TV Series 2018-2021). She also recently portrayed the role of Joy Wallis in the TV series Cruel Summer in 2021 and Helen in The Conners in 2022.
