Amara Trinity Lawrence was born in the USA on 20 August 2002. She was born as the youngest daughter of Martin from his second wife, Shamicka Lawrence.

Martin and Shamicka began dating sometime in 1995. After getting to know each other closely for around 15 years, the couple tied the wedding knot in 2010. However, their marital relationship did not last long as they decided to part ways just after two years. They legally separated on 25 April 2012.

Martin became a father of two daughters, Amara and Iyanna, with his now-former wife, Shamicka. In addition, he also has a daughter Jasmine Lawrence from his first marriage with Halfway Point actress Pat Smith.

Amara is close to her Martin and calls him the best father in the world. In 2021, she wished him on father's day on her Instagram and wrote, "Happy Father’s Day to one of the best dads in the world. Martin Lawrence is a renowned American actor, producer, writer, and comedian. He was born on 16 April 1965, Frankfurt, Germany. Martin is most popularly known for playing Detective Marcus Burnett in the 2002 movie Bad Boys II.

Martin started his acting career portraying the character of Maurice Warfield in an American TV Series What’s Happening Now. He appeared on 22 episodes of the series from 1987 to 1988. The debut role followed his appearances in Life (1999 Movie), Black Night (2001 Movie), Rebound (2005 Movie), etc.
