Tina Yothers is an actress popularly known for her role in the series Family Ties. Her career began at the age of three when she was working in advertisements. Along with television series, Yothers has also done different roles in theatre and films. 

Age

Tina Yothers was born on 5 May 1973 in Whittier, California. She is 48 years old as of 2021. She is the daughter of a television producer Robert Yothers. Tina grew up with three brothers, Cory and twins Jeffrey and Randy. 

Career

Yothers' career began at the early age of three. She worked on advertisements for McDonald's, Bell Telephone, and Doritos. 

Yothers made her first cinematic debut from the television film The Cherokee Trail in 1981. In 1982, she appeared in Shoot the Moon. From 1982 to 1989, Tina portrayed her most famous role as Jennifer Keaton in the television comedy series Family Ties. During her tenure in the series, she sang a cover of The Raes song 'Baby I'm Back in Love Again,' on 26 February 1987. Yothers later recorded the song as a single. In 1988, she competed in the Battle of the Network Stars. 

In 1996, Yothers made an appearance on the sitcom Married… with Children. Besides acting, she and her brother Cory wrote a book called 'Being Your Best: Tina Yothers' Guide for Girls.'

Cory and Tina also formed a band, Jaded. Tina became the lead vocalist of the band while Cory played the keyboard. 

Jaded released its self-titled CD in 1998. The album was co-written by Cory Yothers, Michael Anderson, and Tina Yothers. The band members - Tina Yothers worked as the lead vocalist, Michael Anderson as a guitarist and vocalist, Jerry France as a guitarist and vocalist, Larry Rosales as a drummer, Mike Wilson as a bassist, and Phil Jordan on the trumpet. They also got the help of a DJ for the album. 

What is Tina Yothers doing now?

After focussing on music for some time, Tina returned to television in 2001 on a special TV child stars edition of The Weakest Link, where she was voted off in round 5. She took about nine years of absence from acting and was given the lead role in 2004 show Lovelace the Musical. The show was based on the life of a former pornographic film star Linda Lovelace. From 2005 to 2007, Tina played as a stock player in the Burt Reynolds Dinner Theatre in Boca Raton, Florida. 

On 6 August 2006, Yothers made an appearance on the fourth season of the VH1 reality television show Celebrity Fit Club after her pregnancy to get back to her old shape. Yothers was also featured on the Celebrity Wife Swap on 17 January 2012, where she traded places with Niecy Nash. Additionally, she appeared on an episode of the TLC series What Not To Wear in February 2013. 

Family 

Tina Yothers and her husband Robert Kaiser have been married for over 18 years. The couple tied the knot in August 2002. Kaiser is an electrician and had a daughter from a previous marriage. 

Yothers and Kaiser have two children together, one daughter and one son. Their daughter Lillian Grace 'Lilly' was born in October 2005, and their son, Robert Jake, was born on 24 September 2007. The family resides in Ontario, California.
