Steve Hilton | Biography

Host of The Next Revolution

Steve Hilton is a political figure and a well-known TV host best recognized for hosting the Fox News' show The Next Revolution.

Who is Steve Hilton?

Steve Hilton is a political personality, a teacher, an author, a founder, and a host. He is famously known as the senior advisor of the UK's Ex-Prime Minister David Cameron, who also hosts the popular show, The Next Revolution with Steve Hilton, on Fox News Channel (FNC) every Sunday at 9 pm.

Hilton was born in 1969 in Hungary and later immigrated to Britain with his family. His father, Istvan Csak, an ice hockey goalkeeper, played at the Olympic Games in Germany in 1936. His parents worked together at Heathrow Airport in London before ending their marriage in 1974. His grandmother then raised him out of poverty. Despite his hard time, he managed to continue his study and graduated in philosophy, economics, and politics from New College, Oxford.

After graduation, Hilton started his political career working for the Conservative Central Office as a Director of the strategy to the Ex-Prime Minister of the UK, David Cameron, who came into power in 2010 after 13 years of failure as an opposition party. During the tenure, Hilton and Cameron worked together closely.

Hilton left his political career after a decade in 2012 and then wrote a book in 2015, based on the political philosophy of positive populism, 'More Human.' Further, he started his own company Crowdpac, a Silicon Valley tech start-up. He also established a restaurant in London called The Good Cook that has won an award.

Later in December 2016, Hilton got invited to join Fox News after writing a guest editorial supporting Donald Trump's presidency 2016. In May 2017, he debuted on the FNC with his show The Next Revolution, based on the populism movement and its impact across America and the world. Moreover, he also interviews political experts and high-profile guests. In addition, he also provides political and tech expertise to several programs on Fox Business Network (FBN).

In March 2017, before joining FNC, Hilton shared his excitement about becoming the host of the show The Next Revolution on Fox News. In a press release, he said,

"I'm incredibly excited about this opportunity to expand my role at FOX News Channel and am so looking forward to offering our viewers a fresh outlook on the big issues and ideas in politics, government, and technology that will be shaping the future, here in America and around the world."

Is Steve Hilton married?

Hilton married his wife, Rachel Whetstone, in 2008. The couple first met while working in the Conservative Central Office (CCO), the headquarter of the British political party Conservative Party. The couple initially remained friends, and after five years of their friendship, they decided to tie the wedding knot.

Hilton and his wife share two children from their marriage, both sons named Ben and Sonny. Besides their sons, the couple also looked after David Cameroon's late six-year-old son.

Whetstone is a popular political figure and a public relations executive who has worked for Google as Google's Communication Vice-President for about a decade. Currently, she is associated with the streaming platform Netflix as a Chief Information Officer (CIO).

Salary and Net Worth

According to the article on liverampup.com, published in October 2018, Hilton's monthly salary then was $58,112. However, as of 2022, he has not shared his current salary and other earning details.
