Sherree Burruss began her career in journalism in February 2013. She started as a fill-in news anchor in ABC 17 KMIZ-TV in the Missouri area. Later, she transferred to the sports division in October 2013 and began anchoring high school and college sports. Moreover, she worked as a field reporter and shot several interviews with local sports athletes.
After spending around two and a half years with KMIZ-TV in the Missouri area, Burruss moved to Atlanta for her new job. There she joined the CBS’s Atlanta affiliate, WGCL-TV CBS46, in July 2015. She then left WGCL in December 2016 to work at NBC 4 Washington.
