Who is Scott Hanson?

Scott Hanson was born on 24 June 1971 in Rochester, Michigan.

He is popularly known for his work as a reporter for NFL. Hanson is a Cum Laude graduate from the Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University. During his college years, he played football for the Orangemen. 

Hanson has been raised in a religious home and follows Christianity. In an interview, he has openly stated how much he believes in God and about his faith. 

'NFL RedZone'

In 2006, Hanson joined NFL Media as a national reporter and covered all NFL 32 teams. Eventually, he transitioned into the studio. He began hosting in 2008 and covered the inaugural season in 2009. Hanson was soon named the host of the show NFL RedZone

RedZone jumps from game to game, where they provide their audience with the most important moments in every matchup. Becoming the face of the show, Hanson is currently working on the 13th season. He has signed a multi-year deal to continue his role as a host for the show. 

Along with RedZone, Hanson has also made appearances in different shows. In 2017, he appeared on the Sports Spectrum Podcast

Scott Hanson is unmarried. In 2019, he revealed that he wishes to have a fancy wedding in the future. He also wished his wife to fulfill his conditions. 

On 7 October 2011, Hanson tweeted that he wants his wife to praise him and show love towards him the same way Brenda Warner did for her former husband and former NFL player, Kurt Warner. 

Father's death

Hanson is religious. His father passed away in June 2020 after a short battle with cancer. After knowing that his father was in his final days, Hanson flew from California to Florida and spent five days with him until he died. He also feels grateful to God for those five days.
