Scott Frost, aka Scott Andrew Frost, is a former professional American football player and coach. As a player, he represented several NFL teams like New York Jets from 1998 to 2000, Cleveland Browns in 2001, Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2003, etc. He is currently known for leading the Nebraska Cornhuskers football team.

Frost was born on 4 January 1975 to father Larry and mother Carol in Nebraska. Both his parents were sports coaches at Wood River High School, the same high school where Frost studied and played football as a quarterback from 1989 to 1993. After four years there, he joined Stanford Cardinal and played for their team in 1993 and 1994. Later in 1995, he again moved to Nebraska Cornhuskers and quarterbacked their squad. Frost eventually graduated from Nebraska in 1997 with a Bachelor's degree in Finance.

Frost professionally started coaching college football teams in 2006. First, he began as a graduate assistant with the Kansas Wildcats. Then, he also worked as an assistant coach with other college teams like Northern Iowa Panthers and Oregon Ducks. 

Finally, in 2015 Frost got his first head coach job with the University of Central Florida (UCF). He stayed with UCF until the 2017 season, during which he led the team to their only second Peach Bowl appearance. Moreover, they won the bowl and became national champions by defeating the 7th ranked team, Auburn Tigers.

Soon after, the University of Nebraska offered him a head coach position, and he started his job there on 2 December 2017. To date, he still represents the Nebraska Cornhuskers. And according to a tweet by the Nebraska Huskers, the team is reportedly planning to extend Frost's contract through 2027.

On the other hand, on 5 September 2021, they appeared together with their son during the Nebraska win against Fordham. And the KETV sports director, Andy Kendeigh, also revealed a Frost family's video celebrating the victory on his Twitter account. 

House

In 2018, Frost purchased a home in southwest Lincoln, Nebraska, and spent around $1.3 million for its renovation. The house is located in the neighborhood of Nebraska's basketball coach, Tim Miles.
