Sarah Baker is an actress well known for films such as The Campaign and Mascots and television shows such as The Kominsky Method and Louie.

Who is Sarah Baker? 

Sarah Baker is an American comedian and actress who starred alongside Will Ferrell in The Campaign in 2012 as Mitzi Huggins. She also featured Becky alongside Melissa McCarthy in Ben Falcone's Tammy. Baker then starred as Pamela Lowi in the movie The Good Lie (2014), directed by Philippe Falardeau. After that, she acted alongside Bill Murray in Barry Levinson's Rock the Kasbah in 2015.

She appeared in several movies in 2016, including Christopher Guest's Mascots, in which she played Mindy Murray. The same year, Baker appeared in The Meddler, directed by Lorene Scafaria and starring Susan Sarandon, in which she played Elaine. In 2018, Baker co-starred in the movie of Paul Feig called A Simple Favor and Melissa McCarthy's Life of the Party.

In 2017, she appeared as Thea Cunningham in HBO's limited series Big Little Lies, based on the popular book of the same name. Moreover, Baker appeared in Philip K. Dick's Electric Dreams episode Kill All Others in 2018.

Baker also co-starred with Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin in the Netflix series The Kominsky Method (2018) as Mindy. In January 2019, the show was renewed for a second season after winning a Golden Globe for Best Comedy Series. The show's third and last season was announced in 2020, shortly after being nominated for an 'Emmy' for Best Comedy Series.

Sarah Baker was born on 9 September 1990 in Washington, DC. As of December 2021, she is 31 years old.

She grew up in Springfield, Virginia, and attended Robert E. Lee High School. After graduating from James Madison University, she went to Atlanta, Georgia, with a double emphasis in Theater and English. As a performer and afterward as a teacher, she contributed to the development of Whole World Improv Theatre.

Weight & Height

In an interview with U.S. Report, Baker said that she usually rejects the roles which involve talking about or performing any weight-related issues. 

However, in 2014 she played the character of Lady Vanessa on the Louie C.K. tv show, Louie. She appeared on the episode 'So Did the Fat Lady,' where Vanessa goes on a date with Louie, the lead character. Mid-date, Vanessa calls herself fat, to which Louie, who is also portrayed as an overweight man, attempts to dismiss her. That throws her character off to a monologue against the gender-centric stereotypical judgment of people on fat women.

The dialogue goes, "You can talk into the microphone and say you can't get a date, you're overweight – you're adorable. If I say it, they call the suicide hotline on me. Have you ever held hands with a fat girl? Have you ever walked down the street in the light of day, holding hands with a big girl like me?" Vanessa continued to deliver for six minutes, which C.K. captured in a single shot and later also kept the moments when Vanessa was just thinking. 

Baker added more on her performance, "[Vanessa] didn't set out to give this big long speech. It sort of evolved. So he [Louie C.K., as the writer/director] left in the episode these moments where she's just thinking. They're just being quiet in that moment together. It's not just this speech that comes out. And its not just this angry speech either. There's some frustration there but it's also, it's really just wanting and believing that he could understand her and wanting him to understand her." 

In addition to that, Baker stands 5 feet and 5 inches tall.
