Early Age and Education
Sara Loera was born in Anaheim, California. She was interested in music from a very young age. As a child, Loera played flute and piano. She then sang and danced throughout her youth. Loera performed in musicals at Fullerton Junior College. In her late teenage years, she danced professionally in small productions around Los Angeles.
After graduating high school, she initially planned to major in theater at her undergraduate level, but she quickly realized that was not the right fit for her. She then graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies from California State University, Long Beach, in 2007. While at California State University, she was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society.
A decade later, she enrolled at Irvine Valley College and graduated with a Master’s degree in Associate of Arts (AA), Music-Vocal Performance, in 2020.
Loera began her career as a writing center tutor at Fullerton College in January 2000. She spent three years working closely with adults of different age groups to help them develop creative writing and essay writing skills. Then, from December 2002 to February 2005, she worked as an assistant retail sales manager for women’s retail brand, Bebe.
After leaving Bebe, she started working as a bartender at Fred’s Mexican Cafe in March 2005. Within a year of working at the cafe, she was promoted to bar trainer. After working there for over 12 years, she left her job to focus on singing.
During her time working at the cafe, she continued working in sales, marketing, and management. From August 2006 to April 2007, she served as a part-time marketing manager at Marketing Factory Inc. in Los Angeles, California. In November 2007, she joined a management services company ADP in Long Beach, California. She served the company for ten months as a full-time district manager. From July 2008 to November 2010, she worked as a promotions manager at Cumulus Media, a media, advertising, and marketing services company in Los Angeles, California.
Career As a DJ
Loera worked as a DJ in the late 2000s. In her eponymous website, she mentioned though she could not study as per her plan, she did not suppress her love for music. Loera found a passion for collecting rare 50s vinyl and then worked as a DJ for three years in clubs in Los Angeles. She did one of her first DJ gigs in 2008 at a club called Rock n’ Roll Cabaret at Vertigos in Downtown Los Angeles. She also played in popular garage rock bands around Southern California.
Career As a Singer

In 2015, Loera released her self-titled EP, which comprised five songs. She then released her first album titled Interpretations on 26 December 2016. The album contained ten tracks, including ‘Sympathy for the Devil,’ ‘Dreams,’ ‘Bohemian Rhapsody.’ In 2019, she released her second album titled The Undiscovered Country. Her second album comprised twelve songs, including ‘I Am Brace,’ ‘To Be or Not to Be,’ and ‘The Fifth Dimension.’
