Ruairi O’Conner is an Irish actor best known for his role in the period drama The Spanish Princess and the horror movie The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It.

Who is Ruairi O’Conner?

Ruairi O’Conner is an actor. He made his screen debut from the 2012 movie What Richard Did, where he played the role of Niall.

Followed by that, he appeared as Killian in a 2015 episode of the TV series Tinderface. The following year, O’Conner played the role of Weasel in the critically acclaimed movie Handsome Devil. In 2016, he also appeared as Simon on the series Can’t Cope, Won’t Cope, followed by a couple of episodes of the mini-series My Mother and Other Strangers as Andrew Black.

In addition to that, from 2016 to 2018, O’Conner recurred the role of Michael Vincent in the infamous television drama series Delicious. He acted alongside Dawn French, Iain Glen, and Emilia Fox, among others, on the series. The show was about food, relationships, and affairs that occurred in a small town.

Further, he starred in the 2018 movie Teen Spirit as Keyan Spears with Elle Fanning. Ruairi O’Conner was born on 9 July 1991 in Dublin, Ireland. He is 30 years old as of 2021. He graduated from the Lir in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in acting. He grew up in suburban Howth and moved to rural Ireland when he was 14 years old. 

He was the only child until the age of 10. Later, his parents had three daughters consecutively; therefore, he grew up taking care of his siblings. “It was great being and only child, I got a lot of investment and I spent a lot of time with adults... When my sisters came along... I got to deal with nappies and to feel what it was like to almost be a parent while also being a sibling,” O’Conner said in an interview with Independent.ie.

O’Conner is often known to keep his private life away from the media. However, after The Spanish Princess gained momentum, he was speculated to be dating his co-star Charlotte Hope. However, none of them have made any formal statements regarding their relationship.

On the other hand, they have mentioned in interviews that they both landed their respective roles because of their innate love chemistry since the audition.
