Flores' fellow TikTok star Gabriel "Gabe" Salazar, better known by his online name Gabenotbabe, was killed at age 19 alongside three passengers in a car crash during a police chase near La Pryor, Texas, on 26 September 2021.
Flores, who frequently collaborated with Gabe to make TikTok videos, paid tribute to his friend in emotional Instagram posts. He shared the duo's several photos and a couple of videos on 26 September, captioning, "rest easy brother. words can't even explain how i feel right now. man i would do anything to get you back right now bro. LONG LIVE GABE."
Posting the pair's other few portraits and a Tiktok video in a separate post that same day, he captioned, "best duo ever dawg. R.I.P. to my brother man."
The same day, Flores shared another post stating that he was at a loss of words and was unsure of how he would handle seeing Gabe's family at his funeral. The following day, he posted a picture of Gabe in loving memory, captioning hashtag #llg.
In another Instagram post dated 30 September 2021, he shared a couple of photos from Gabe's funeral, captioning, "mi segunda family. may you rest in peace."
