Born on 30 September 1979 in New Jersey, Rachel DeAlto is a relationship and communication expert, consultant, keynote speaker, television personality, author, and former attorney.
She received a BS degree in Advertising from the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications at Syracuse University in 2001. She then graduated with a law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law in 2006 and worked as an attorney from 2007 to 2010.
In 2013, DeAlto made her first television appearance as a corporate coach on the TV series Money with Melissa Francis. She later rose to fame as a relationship expert on the reality TV show Married at First Sight. She appeared in the fourth and fifth seasons of the show in 2016. Subsequently, she was replaced by Jessica Griffin in the sixth season.
DeAlto then hosted the reality TV show Kiss Bang Love in 2017 before serving as a relationship expert on the reality TV show Kate Plus Date in 2019.
She has also appeared to talk about relationships on various TV news programs and shows, including Today, Access Hollywood Live, The Steve Harvey Show, CNN, Fox and Friends, Good Morning America, and Tamron Hall. She has also given three TEDx talks.

Married, Divorced, and Family
DeAlto was married to her ex-husband for eight years until their divorce in 2012. She says her relationship with her ex-husband and the dissolution of their relationship was her 'greatest teacher.'
Talking about her past relationship in a 2016 Facebook post, she wrote, “Not every relationship is meant to last forever, however, every relationship is meant to help us grow. I may not be married now, but I believe in marriage, I believe in love, and I believe that all of my experiences enable me to be the person I am today. Helpful, hopeful and humble. With her former husband, she has two children - one son and one daughter. Her daughter’s name is Sophia.
