Phyllis Fierro is the spouse of the actor Ralph Macchio. The actor was only at the age of 15 when they caught sight of each other at Macchio’s grandmother’s basement at a cousin’s sixteen birthday ceremony. At the same birthday party, they danced and interacted with each other.

Eventually, the duo established a romantic relationship in high school and married on 5 April 1987. As of 2022, they have been married for 35 years. 

As Macchio embarked on his career in acting, Fierro went on to become a nurse practitioner.

Additionally, he portrayed the role of Johnny Cade in The Outsiders (1983) and Jeremy Andretti in the comedy-drama series, Eight is Enough (1977).
