In 2007, Dalhausser and his partner Rogers became the first American team ever to win the Beach Volleyball World Championship organized in Gstaad, Switzerland. The duo split in 2015, and Dalhausser teamed up with his former partner Nick Lucena. They appeared together in the 2016 Brazil Olympics and 2020 Tokyo Olympics, where they finished fifth and ninth, respectively.
