Who is Peter Gadiot?

Peter Gadiot is a British actor who made his American network debut in ABC's Once Upon a Time in Wonderland as Cyrus, the handsome and mysterious Genie, in 2013. The same year, Gadiot co-starred with Léa Seydoux in Prada: Candy, a short film directed by Wes Anderson and Roman Coppola. He also appeared in three episodes of the Channel 4 dramedy Fresh Meat.

Gadiot portrayed Caesar in the 2014 series Matador and Ka in the 2015 Canadian-American drama series Tut.

In 2016, he starred as Petruchio in William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew at the Harman Center for the Arts in Washington, DC.

Gadiot played James Valdez in the crime drama series Queen of the South (2016-2021), aired on the USA Network. The series was based on Arturo Perez-best-selling Reverte's novel 'La Reina del Sur.' For the role, Peter earned the 2017 'Imagen Award' for Best Supporting Actor–Television. The series aired its fifth and final season in 2021.

In Showtime's new series Yellowjackets, Gadiot plays Adam, a captivating and curious stranger. Showtime premiered the series on 14 November 2021.
