Mayo is an entrepreneur who began a creative development and market campaigning company in 2003 called TarmeyCORP.
After that, he founded Stronghold Airsoft and created Massachusett’s largest indoor military simulation platform called Abington Zombie Apocalypse, which was featured on Xfinity On Demand in 2012. Then, in 2013 he furnished the indoor Zombie event in New England by the same name.

Patty Mayo was born as Thomas Tarmey on 6 July 1987. He was born and raised in the Boston area, and he later relocated to Burbank, California.

Before he embarked on his video-making career, Mayo was an entrepreneur. He founded his first company in 2003. It was a creative market development and campaign fashion company called TarmeyCORP.
Then in 2012, he founded Stronghold Airsoft. The company was successful in furnishing Massachusett’s largest indoor military simulation interface called Abington Zombie Apocalypse.
After that, in October of 2013, he furnished the largest indoor zombie event in New England. The event turned trendy; it garnered over 10,000 visitors within its first month.
Successively, in May of 2014, both his military simulation and zombie event center were bought out.
Still, his marketing company is functioning in the year 2021.

Mayo joined YouTube in November of 2013. He raised his subscribers as a prank videos creator. Along with that, he uploaded content relating to college humor and also portrayed a French character.
“I jumped on the prank bandwagon at first. That was like my whole…I had this French character called Ze Oil Boy and it was this totally ridiculous, comical, college humor, Van Wilder-style comedy that I ran up until about 700,000 subscribers when YouTube’s ‘Adpocalypse’ hit and the algorithm changed,” Mayo shared.
‘Southland Bounty Hunters’
After YouTube reinvented its algorithmic suggestions, Mayo’s prank videos viewership decreased. As a result, he decided to change the theme of his channel. As a result of that decision, he introduced the Southland Bounty Hunters series.
The series follows Mayo’s girlfriend, Kayla, serving as a camerawoman for the video in which Mayo acts as a fugitive recovery agent or bounty hunter. He goes on to repossess illegal properties and meanwhile also tracks down fugitives who have skipped bail.
Eventually, Mayo’s popularity peaked when he collaborated with a fellow YouTube star Bounty Hunter D in 2017 for his show Southland Bounty Hunters. Together, they narrated perilous bounty hunting circumstances, which in turn gripped a lot of fans.
Mayo went on to achieve over 1 million followers not shortly after the collaboration. In addition, he invited other YouTube personalities to join him on the show, including AT, Shaundra, and Big E.
Then, in 2020 Mayo took a year off from creating content and returned in April 2021 with his new team. His channel, in July 2021, has collected over 9.5 million subscribers with over 1 billion views.

Is Patty Mayo a Real Bounty Hunter or Fake?
When Mayo’s show was getting attention from the audience, many people questioned if he was an official member of law enforcement.
The Verdict
Mayor denied the rumor and clarified that the people on the videos were all paid actors who worked to make it as realistic as possible.
Mayo also added that they always remembered to stated that they were not real sheriff officers if someone got confused.
Mayo added, “The intent is to create a production, it’s not to commit a crime. And so that’s why before we even purchased the cars for this show or any equipment, we sat down with the police department and said, this is what we’d like to do. What do you think?”
In addition to that, the Sheriff Department of Oregon, where the majority of Mayo’s shooting is done, made a formal statement concerning the department and Mayo’s videos.
“We are aware of the YouTuber Patty Mayo and his activities in Deschutes County. Mr. Mayo is not a member of law enforcement, nor affiliated in any way with any sheriff’s office in Oregon. He is an actor, and the uniform he wears is a costume. Additionally, every person featured in his videos are part of his production crew or are paid actors/actresses…Deschutes County Sheriff’s Office has also expressed their concern and strongly encouraged him and other actors not to be in public locations in their costumes.”
Further, Oregon State does not consider Mayo’s impersonation of police officers, for the purpose of the video, a crime.
Girlfriend
Mayo was in a relationship with Kayla Pillar, the initial camera person of his bounty hunter series.
They broke up in 2019, and after that, Mayo has been seen with the famous dancer Raven Walton

Although Mayo has not made a formal announcement, he is known to have a daughter with the girlfriend he dated before Kayla.
