Darcy was born in the United States of America, in the state of Washington. He received his bachelor's degree of Arts in Political Science from the University of California, Merced, in 2011.

Career

Darcy has been working in the landscape of journalism for nearly a decade.

He worked as a Deputy Managing Editor at The Blaze from 2013 to 2016 and wrote substantial news pieces until his term. He then landed the position of Politics Editor at Business Insider in June 2016 and remained until 2017. There, he covered general politics, especially the 2016 election, and handled a team of reporters. 

Presently, he is working as a Senior Media Reporter at CNN, a designation he has been holding since 2017.
