Nikocado Avocado is an American YouTuber known for his mukbang, meaning "eating show" videos.

Who is Nikocado Avocado?

Nicholas Perry, better known as Nikocado Avocado, is an American YouTuber renowned for his melodramatic behavior and comic mukbang videos. 

Avocado was born on 19 May 1992 in Kherson, Ukraine. He is 29 as of November 2021. 

Nikocado started posting videos on YouTube on 27 May 2014. Initially, he used the forum to discuss his vegan lifestyle. However, in 2016, he posted a video explaining why he did not want to be a vegan YouTuber anymore and expressed his evolving views on animal consumption and annoyance with the vegan community. 

After announcing his departure from the vegan lifestyle, Nikocado Avocado earned a skyrocketing reputation for himself in the mukbang community, which refers to a live broadcast of people devouring food. 

Avocado runs four channels - Nikocado Avocado, Nikocado Avocado 2, More Nikocado, and Nikocado Avocado 3, and has a combined 3 million subscribers from these channels. Most videos of Nikocado's binge eating on a more amount of food receive over a million views.

Husband

Nikocado identifies himself as a homosexual man. He shared marital vows with a fellow mukbang vlogger Orlin Home in 2017.  

According to the YouTube video he shared in 2016, Nikocado and Orlin connected in a vegan men's Facebook group. After months of random chatting and correspondence, the two met in New York when Home traveled up from his hometown, Colombia, for the Woodstock fruit festival happening in New York. Until then, they were friends. Their romance blossomed later when they toured together in Central America. 

Is Nikocado Avocado still married?

Nikocado and Orlin Home seem to have broken up. Orlin revealed their breakup on his YouTube channel through the video, 'We Broke Up & I Moved Back To Colombia' in 2021. In the video, he emphasized his inability to take care of Nikocado forever. 

"This nightmare is over," Orlin said, referring to his experience in the relationship. In the same video, Orlin also mentioned that Nikocado should take care of himself and "start doing things on his own." 

Besides, he also voiced his worry for Nikocado in the video and conveyed his desire for him to live a healthy lifestyle and control his eating habits. Orlin ended the video with the sentence "I am glad it's over," referring to the end of his relationship with Nikocado.

The couple had a similar kind of fallout in 2020. In January 2020, Nikocado had released a video titled 'We Broke Up' on his YouTube channel. In the video, he cited the reason for their breakup as mukbanger Stephanie Soo, who had then released a video detailing how Nikocado made her feel uncomfortable when they were filming a mukbang collaboration. Nikocado claimed that the YouTube controversy and online trolls caused his marital relationship with Orlin to fall apart.

However, throughout the controversy, Nikocado was active in digging it big as he kept on posting videos in his defense claiming Stephanie was a liar and constantly bashed her. 

Weight Gain

Videos from Nikocado's initial posts as a mukbanger showed him significantly slim. 

He weighed roughly 160 pounds at that time, but now he weighs twice that much. He's about 340 pounds. This increase in weight owes to his binge eating habits and unhealthy lifestyle, as observed from the Youtube content he creates.

His fans seem to be deeply concerned with his weight gain. 

"Just discovered #NikocadoAvocado and I am shook!!!!" one Twitter user shared his/her thoughts. 

"In the space of 5 years, he went from being a tiny skinny vegan activist to eating daily mukbangs, and is now bed-bound, 370lbs on a sleep apnea machine, and has gained so much weight so quickly, he's broken his own ribs!," another shared.

"Seeing the evolution of Nikocado Avocado is genuinely terrifying," another viewer expressed.
