Who Is Nicole Briscoe?
Nicole Briscoe is an American journalist and sportscaster who currently works at ESPN. She started her TV career as a general assignment reporter at WREX-TV, the NBC affiliate in Rockford. She took the job in 1999 while she was studying at Northern Illinois University.
In April 2004, she joined as a sports reporter at WISH-TV, the CBS affiliate in Indianapolis. She also worked for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Radio Network as a pit reporter. During her tenure, she was exposed to auto racing for the first time when she covered the Indianapolis 500. Likewise, she also covered the Indianapolis Colts, Indiana Pacers, and college basketball.
Two years later, in May 2006, she left the WISH-TV to co-host The Speed Report (formerly Speed News), a motorsports news program on the Speed Channel in Charlotte. Eventually, in January 2008, she landed in ESPN and has contributed to the network ever since.
Briscoe graduated from Hononegah High School in 1998. That same year in August, she competed in the Miss Teen USA pageant in Shreveport, Louisiana. Likewise, in 2001, she competed in the Miss Illinois USA pageant and was announced as the first runner-up. Briscoe later graduated from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois.
