Nessa Diab is a radio and television personality. She is best known as the host of several MTV talk shows like Girl Code (2013-2015), Guy Code vs. Girl Code (2016), etc.

Who is Nessa Diab?

Nessa Diab is a famous American radio personality, TV host/presenter, and civil rights activist. She first gained global recognition for covering interviews of several famous celebrities on the San Francisco-based radio station Wild 94.9. 

Diab's notable TV appearances are as the host/presenter of Girl Code (2013-2015), The Real World (2014-2016), The Challenge (2016), Race in America: An MTV Discussion (2017), Lindsay Lohan's Beach Club (2019), 2020 Code (2020), etc. As of now, she hosts weekday afternoon programs on New York City-based Hot 97 radio station. She landed the job on the channel in 2015 after its former host Angie Martinez moved to Power radio station.

Age and Early Bio

Diab was born in California, USA, on 6 May 1981. She grew up in a Muslim family alongside her two siblings. She spent most of her childhood in Southern California. Later, during her youth, her father's job led the whole family to relocate to Saudi Arabia. As a young girl from the USA, she found it tough to live in Saudi Arabia. In addition, she constantly feared for her life because of the Gulf war breaking out in the 1990s. During an interview with Starcasm.net in 2015, she said,

Here is the thing, I was a young girl fearing for my life– I wore gas masks to school. I heard war sirens constantly and I knew at this point I had to break out of this lifestyle.

Regarding formal education, Diab did her elementary education in Southern California before moving to Saudi Arabia, where she completed her high school. She then moved back to the USA and earned her Bachelor's degree in Arts in Mass Communication from the University of California in Berkeley.

Parents

Authentic media outlets and internet sites have published very little information or bio about Diab's parents. According to a 2017 article of heavy, her mother belongs to the Middle East while her father is of Egyptian descent. Although her parents' names are not available, she proclaims they were well educated. However, they got rejected in several jobs in the US while she was very young. It led to her moving to Saudi Arabia for work.

Diab and her boyfriend Colin Kaepernick began dating each other before 2016. However, they only went public about their relationship during a charity event on Valentines' Day 2016. The pair had attended the event to raise funds for children fighting battles with heart disease.

Colin Kaepernick is a former American Football NFL superstar, social activist, and media personality. People mainly recognize him for his creative writing and acting on the 2021 Netflix series Colin in Black and White. Moreover, he played as a quarterback for the NFL team San Francisco 49ers from 2011 to 2016.

As of January 2022, the pair have completed over five years together. They regularly feature in each other's social media handles like Facebook and Instagram. Moreover, on 23 February 2019, Colin shared Diab's picture in his Facebook account and congratulated her for being nominated for New York Emmy 2019. He wrote,

Congratulations Queen ( Nessa )on your New York Emmy nomination!!! Your hustle is unmatched and I adore you! You are the greatest and deserve this and so much more!
